Tiers and multipliers

Base, Silver, Gold, Platinum — what they actually represent and how to set the multiplier.

Tiers reflect material and finish upgrades. The multiplier should reflect the total cost difference, not just the door price — interiors, hardware, finishing time, and shop drawings all scale up at higher tiers.

A 1.20 multiplier means a job that quotes at $50,000 in Base would quote at $60,000 in Gold. Test your multipliers on a few past jobs to make sure the numbers feel right.
